Compatibility
The Fisher 5" search coil is compatible with the F5 Fisher metal detector. Plug-in style search coils fit older model Fisher detectors with serial numbers earlier than (less than) 0610XXXXXX.
All Fisher search coils are 100% waterproof.
Round Coil

DD Coil Structure
- Overlapping D-shaped transmitter and reciver coils of approximately the same size
- Greater depth in mineralized soil
- Broad sweep pattern
- Narrower target response
Smaller Coil Size
- Lighter
- Easier pinpointing
- Superior target separation (important in trashy areas)
- Able to detect smaller targets (important in gold prospecting)
- Nearly as much depth capability as standard size search coil
