Compatibility
The Fisher 8" search coil IS compatible with the F2 and F4 metal detector. Plug-in style search coils fit older model Fisher detectors with serial numbers earlier than (less than) 0610XXXXXX.
All Fisher search coils are 100% waterproof.
Round Coil

Concentric Coil Structure
- Large transmitter coil/smaller receiver coil in the same plane
- Symmetry helps to minimize electrical drift due to time and temperature
- Better discrimination on shallow targets and flat iron objects
