Compatibility
The Fisher 8" search coil is compatible with the Fisher F5 metal detector. Screw-in style search coils fit newer model Fisher detectors with serial numbers later than (higher than) 0610XXXXXX.
All Fisher search coils are 100% waterproof.
Round Coil

Concentric Coil Structure
- Large transmitter coil/smaller receiver coil in the same plane
- Symmetry helps to minimize electrical drift due to time and temperature
- Better discrimination on shallow targets and flat iron objects
